How to Meditate

1185531_meditation_2This article will explain how to meditate effectively. Meditation is more than just closing your eyes and breathing. It is a state of calmness that draws you into a deeper trance. It is the trance that is the part of the brain that controls manifestation. Many magical religions use mediation to access insights and spiritual powers. There are many ways to meditate. You can do this sitting up or laying down. Sitting up of course prevents you from falling asleep, while laying down allows you to go deeper without having to hold yourself up. Personally, I prefer laying down to see how far I can go into the mind before falling asleep since that is the deepest parts of the mind where reprogramming and controlling the outcome of a vision occurs. Though when I sit up I am more aware. The only problem is that the head may flop over as you try not to fall asleep and cut the vision short. Others sit in the lotus position so they can purposely cut of the oxygen to the legs and have it just run through the mind. Personally I like to be comfortable. There are advance meditations out there with specific hand positions and such, but this article covers the basics of deep meditation techniques for beginners. So when you find a comfortable position. Focus on the center of your forhead and close your eyes. Pay attention to the breath, then control it so it slows down to a relaxing pace. Inside your head feel yourself dropping to deeper and deeper into various levels of awareness. It should feel like a dropping feeling in the mind. With each breath drop down lower. And if your mind starts to wander focus on the breath by labeling it inhale and exhale. From there allow the relaxation to take over. In some meditation it is important to keep a blank mind, while in others they have you visualize a shape and keep it there. Whereas guided meditation will tell you exactly what to pay attention to. By doing so you can release the thoughts that plague you day to day while reprogramming yourself with newer more positive thoughts. You can try my meditation mp3.

      Thanks for the video. I certainly do aiatecppre it as I have been wanting to incorporate deep breathing into my daily routine. I will begin to check it out. One question, if you’re still around: I notice that when I breathe deeply as I check my BP with an electronic monitor, my systolic decreases for that reading.. This is desirable for me. Thoughts?

      I agree with you, in as far as first build ethical/moral foundation, second build chi . To do otherwise will create monsters, as has occasionally happened in the past.       Use it as a journal to talk to GOD every day God wants us to talk to him just like we would a frined and this will also be your time to develop an intimate relationship with our Father in Heaven .Just have a little talk with Jesus and tell him all about you problems, your happiness and joy, your trials and tribulations and everything else that you experience throughout the day .I remember when I had a journal and I would get off work and write in my Journal telling God about how someone might have upsetted me and I would feel so much better when I finished writing .Writing is a way to release so much stress and when you use that time to write and talk to Jesus, you actually have a brand new attitude when the writing is completed because you would feel the love of God embracing you and letting you know that nothing is that serious in life and even though in my case, I was mad at a co-worker, God will let me know that I still had to Love, Love, Love and when I became so filled with this loving spirit of Christ, I could no longer hold onto anything within my heart that was “unlike” Christ The negativity will just go away and I felt much, much better >:)References :

      July 31, 2012Love this! I need to incorporate it into my daily riutal more. I do what I like to call an active meditation I walk for about 30 minutes outside every morning, work on my breathing, and clear my head. I don’t know if this counts but I enjoy it Keep the posts coming! Great work!

      I figure it would be just like a naroml journal, except you write down your prayers, wishes, hopes, dreams, and what questions you meditate and concentrate on with a date instead of what happened that day. And I doubt it matters how you start it, just start it with an entry.I prefer to write down my poems and theological ideas, myself.References : Agnostic, Ex-Christian

      With a prayer jonaurl, you can make up your own prayers and write them out based on what you are praying for. Or you can write out the things you wanted to pray for and the formal prayers (Our Father, etc) that you prayed in honor of those intentions.References :

      August 1, 2012I think certain types of acivitty are a little easier to do than others while meditating: walking on the beach or in the woods, some forms of yoga and some types of dancing can combined with meditation, as long as you set clear intentions and can maintain your focus throughout the practice. It is not easy to do, but in time and with practice, it can be done.

      Some tips on remembering soeimhtng in the back of your mind are as follows:1.) Stop thinking about her for awhile. This may be for days, weeks, or possibly a month. There is soeimhtng called the “Tip of the Tongue” phenomenon, that when we have what we want to remember on the tip of our tongue, the only way it will suddenly “pop back up” is when we completely stop thinking about it. This is cognitive thinking.2.) Try to remember soeimhtng that you did with this woman, and try to think about what you may have done right before or after then. This is similar to retracing your steps.3.) Just remember her as best you can. Sometimes, if you continuously think, the image will begin to get clearer. It may also help to write down things that you DO remember about her, and sketch a picture. It’s okay if the face is missing, you may be able to fill that in later.References : I took a psychology class in college. We learned all about memory retention and recall. You might want to do a little research on this if you want to learn more.Try looking up things like Cognitive Thinking, Memory Retention, Memory Recall, etc.

      I often spend days at a time in bed. For me, it usually makes tginhs worse. I find it is better to stick with a routine, get up, walk the dog, have some lunch, try to breathe. I’m lucky that I did not have to return to work after my daughter died, but sometimes I think it would be nice to have that routine. And I agree, it would be so lovely to speed up this grieving process, but we have to live it, hard as it is. Thinking of you tonight.

I would suesggt that you try it for 3 times a day for 5 minutes for a couple of weeks and then increase the time.Essentially this breathing movement is how we as humans should breathe so we should be breathing like this 24/ 7 (without the hand movements).May you be well,Piers

    Just was wondering if you have ever used a pogarrm like binaural beats, or Holosync. These are meditation pogarrms that help you take things to a whole new level by bringing your mind to a certain state,by using sound.I am a massive Bill Romanowski fan since your days in Denver.     This is not so easy to answer when to know that you able to berath from this rightplace or not. well as i see if the flow come back there that means you found the right place. your very berathing in balance is a key that the flow is happening there, as we all have certain level when we r in process. Normally people has 0 level flow there. As far as scientists .. yes they have discover certain physical level of disorder or diseases but not aware of energyflow there. They have guess what can be this and that but still very far away to know the mystery of body.

    yesterday I when I was in bed I did breathing there again and it is awalys the same phenomena. First I check my breath to be balanced and it is soft and easy. The moment I breath from there is get immediately hard to breath nearly impossible to get air in for the first moments.. then it takes a while where pressure gets slowly less and less and until breath is soft and balanced again .. it is a miracle for me and experiencing this gave me so much trust that I continued to spot some other area in my body where I had pain and I also felt there some release ..

    Yes this is absolutely sure you will not have any idea ever and even one day if you bmeace enlighten then may be some sense will come and see some hills but the real mountain is far away and its difficulty to climb and it is really hard sometime not a joke AT ALL This is my Karma in a way but is also way to share what is possible .. so i am not suffering at all but enjoying to keep discovering the more higher and higher mountain to have hope that i am able to help all of you.

    these days it tried few times to breathe with half cleosd eyes and while inhaling it felt like my awareness was automatically pulled inside and up to the center of my brain i felt it might be fine to breathe there, even if one does not hit exactly the right spots of the amygdala !? somehow i wanted to avoid to start some kind of imagination what it looks like inside there but it was always very relaxing and if i stay there long enough only watching and breathing, the area of the 3rd eye starts itching a bit and thoughts slowly cool down

    well each of us has living in dniefreft dimension .. so it is not necessary everybody will affect same way soon i will try to show in graph and illustration..basically there is 5 dniefreft level we are .. so if mine door is disturbed .. it is not necessary your door will also disturbed.. or your door disturbed mine may be fine and each 5 level there is 6 door each of them this will also count which side is broken so there is quite a mystery behind in its inner science ..

    Actually it is very primitive obecjt model and its reality nothing is super natural we are like a . which has all 6 dimension.. up to down , right to left and front to back .. so has 6 possibility. what i start to find that all these are the door from where the disturbance enter .. so once all these door are protected we are in flow so the whole work is how to protected to all this 6 door each of the 5 level
